Homeschool Group field trip!

I have been so blessed, and am so thankful that I have found an truly awesome group of homeschool moms that I am now apart of their homeschool group! The kids (and myself) have had a great time getting to know other homeschool families that live around us, and have fun and exciting trips too!

Recently we went to a race horse farm to learn more about, well horses! We had such a great time hanging out with other families like ours and being around such great animals. The boys had such a good time and I am so happy for the opportunity we had to participate! We were able to see close to 80 horses! My favorite part was seeing the ponies. The third and fourth oldest liked seeing the barn cat and dog! The oldest was amazed at how many horses these people had to take care of, and my second oldest just enjoyed petting all of the animals.

Such a wonderful day we had together!

The third and fourth were used in the demonstration of how a horse harness is used, they were the back leg of the horse!

Camping

  For Mother's Day weekend we took a trip to Versailles State Park and went camping! I 

 couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate the wonderful gift that is motherhood! We only stayed one night, but it was a ton of fun for the weekend. There was hiking, exploring, and an awesome campfire. It truly was a great time, and we can't wait to go again!

Chickens...

Our family is having so much fun with chickens 

running around the backyard. They have gotten so big so fast, I thought kids grew fast! We have definitely learned a lot getting into all of this. When we get up in the morning we let the ladies out to roam the yard, then we lock them up in the evening. The kids love to chase them around the yard and try to catch them! Such a fun adventure!

 

My Boys

I just love my little guys so much! They make me so happy, and I am grateful everyday for the opportunity to be a mother.  I feel so lucky and blessed to be married to my best friend and for 5 wonderful boys that I am able to spend my days raising - this is true joy!

They are so cute, but I may be a little biased!
